Water and sewer networks in Armenia and Quindío
We build water supply and drainage networks for housing developments, public works and infrastructure: collectors, manholes, gullies, drop chambers and household connections. It is one of the lines where we have delivered the most work, a good part of it for public bodies.
This kind of work is judged by what you cannot see. A badly laid network does not show itself on handover day but three rainy seasons later. That is why we work with verified gradients, certified materials and testing before backfilling.
What it covers
- Water supply networks. Transmission and distribution pipework, fittings, valves, hydrants and bulk metering.
- Foul sewers. Collectors, manholes, drop chambers and household connections, laid to the designed gradients.
- Storm drainage. Gullies, channels, box culverts and outfalls, sized for Coffee Region rainfall.
- Excavation and shoring. Battered or shored trenches depending on depth and soil type, with water management.
- Backfill and compaction. Selected material in layers with density testing — the very stage where other people's work usually fails.
- Road reinstatement. We return the road to the condition it was in, or better.

A significant share of this line is delivered for public bodies, which means permanent supervision, partial acceptance certificates, performance and stability bonds, and strict compliance with tender specifications. That discipline carries over into our private contracts too.
Frequently asked questions
Do you work with external supervision?
Yes — it is standard in public works and we are comfortable with it. Laboratory
testing and hydrostatic tests are part of the normal procedure.
Can you build without cutting off the service?
In most cases yes, through scheduled connections and temporary bypasses. It is
settled during planning, before the first metre is broken.
Do you design as well as build?
We can build to an existing design or support its preparation alongside the hydraulic
designer. The latter usually works out cheaper in the end.
