1How much does it cost to build in Quindío?
It depends on the area, the terrain, the structural system and the level of finishes. That is why we do not quote off the cuff: we visit the site, take off quantities and deliver a detailed budget with unit price analysis, free of charge and with no commitment.
2Is the site visit free?
Yes. Within Armenia and the municipalities of Quindío the visit is free. Outside the department it is arranged according to the location and scope of the project.
3Do you work with contracts and insurance policies?
Yes. Every project runs under a written contract defining scope, schedule, payment terms and warranties. When the project or the client entity requires it, we issue the corresponding policies.
4Do you take on public-sector contracts?
Yes. We have experience in public works: sewer networks, educational infrastructure and works inside airport premises, complying with the protocols and supervision of each contract.
5How long does a project take?
The timeline is defined in the schedule that accompanies the budget and is monitored weekly. A targeted remodelling can take weeks; a complete home, several months. What matters is that the date is agreed in writing before we start.
6Do you take on small remodelling jobs?
Yes. Kitchens, bathrooms, roofs, façades, retail units and office fit-outs. No job is too small if it is well defined.
7Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. We provide a warranty on the delivered work in accordance with Colombian regulations and the terms agreed in the contract, along with maintenance recommendations at handover.
8I live abroad — can you manage my project?
Yes, we do this regularly. We coordinate over WhatsApp or video call, send periodic reports with progress photos and video, and use milestone-based payment certificates so you keep full control remotely.
9Are you handling damage from the 10 August earthquake?
Yes. Since the earthquake we have been prioritising inspections of homes, retail units and institutional buildings across Quindío and the Coffee Region. Send us photographs over WhatsApp and we will tell you whether what we see needs an urgent visit, can wait, or is a minor repair.
10How do I know whether a crack in my house is dangerous?
As general guidance: thin vertical cracks in partition walls or in the render are usually superficial, whereas diagonal or X-shaped cracks across load-bearing walls, cracks running through columns and beams, and any crack exposing brick or reinforcement steel point to structural damage and need to be assessed before being patched. None of this replaces an on-site inspection. If your home was affected, also request the official damage assessment from your municipality's risk management office: it is free and it is the document insurers and state aid programmes ask for.
11Do you take on single-day jobs?
Yes. Patching cracks, leaks, damp, loose tiling, painting, doors and windows. For jobs like these we quote a fixed price over WhatsApp from a photograph, with no prior visit needed in most cases.
